Abstract:

The aim of this paper is to compare PLD technique with monopulse and multipulse nanosecond laser excitation. We show the feasibility of depositing nanometric layers of PbTe employing the regimes already mentioned. Each of the grown layers were characterized by XRD, EDXS, SEM, Spectroscopic Elipsometry, AFM and the thickness was measured by mechanic profilometry. We have conducted comparative experiments to show the advantages and drawbacks of making PLD with mono and multipulse nanosecond laser. © 2016 Elsevier Ltd
